In 1968, Black students fought for the creation of this dedicated social space during a protest that transformed the history of Northwestern University. The renovated Black House delivers students with a welcoming space true to the buildings original sense of character and community. The first floor is dedicated to larger gatherings while the upper floors include office space, large group student organization space, and quiet space for students to relax and study.
