Our Work
Our story began in Cornelius Griggs’ home office with one student intern and a desire to build for underserved communities and improve diversity in the construction industry. Today, GMA’s portfolio includes projects across the United States with offices in Illinois, Texas, and New York. We have 60 full-time employees and five community hires working as laborers on our projects. Our portfolio spans eight unique sectors with a focus on housing, education, and healthcare.

Our Services
General Contractor
As General Contractor, our job is to control the process and the outcome of each project. We cannot succeed unless the trades we are leading succeed.
Construction Management
GMA approaches every managed project with accountability, transparency, and a proactive, hands-on approach.
Design-Build
GMA combines the design and construction phases of the project to maximize efficiency while assuming much of the risk.
Cost Engineering
GMA prepares estimates and/or verifies proposed construction costs at various stages of the construction process.
