Pullman National Monument Administration & Clock Tower Building

In my 34 years with the National Park Service, I have never seen a project that has gone as smoothly as this job. There have been no accidents, no cost overruns, we are on schedule. This speaks volumes to Cornelius Griggs and his team at GMA.

Pullman National Monument, also known as The Pullman District and Pullman Historic District, was the first model planned industrial community in the United States. The district is significant for its historical origins in the Pullman Company, one of the most famous company towns in the United States, and scene of the violent 1894 Pullman strike. The district was designated a National Monument by President, Barack Obama, on February 19, 2015, making it a component of the National Park System. The scope of work for this historic building included tenant improvements to the three-story administration building for both administrative purposes and to create a fully functional public area that houses interpretive exhibits, a bookstore, central lobby area, multipurpose meeting rooms, staff offices, and conference space.
