Located in the last building of the former Jane Addams Homes, the National Public Housing Museum details the history of public housing in America. This adaptive re-use project involves the restoration and build-out of a three-story building into 15 affordable apartments on one end and an immersive educational space on the other featuring a rotating collection of objects from public housing residents and a music room, where the beats of Diana Ross and the Supremes, Elvis Presley, and countless other musicians resonate from the heart of iconic housing projects.
