GMA is beyond proud to announce the City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development and the North Lawndale community have selected Lawndale ReDefined as the WINNER of the INVEST South/West North Lawndale site!
The team is led by GMA’s development arm, GRE Ventures, with GMA serving as general contractor. The estimated $31.4 million project is a mixed-use development with residential, retail, and community space. The residential component includes 48 affordable units, 12 market rate units, and three mark rate townhomes. The retail component includes a neighborhood grocer, a bistro with rooftop terrace, shopping, and a sit-down restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. A technology and arts hub called “The Cube” will provide space for community gathering, art gallery, outdoor movies, and technology training. Our team has partnered with the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, JLM Abundant Life Center, Blockchain Institute, Honeywell, and City Colleges of Chicago to provide a robust technology training program covering blockchain, AI, 5G, AR/VR, IoT and more! The outdoor area will feature a public plaza with art, splash pad, and a history trail celebrating the history of the community.
