The Martin Farrell House is an existing 100% affordable housing project located in the Chicago neighborhood of Woodlawn. The property, built in 1991, consists of a 44,000 SF five-story elevator building with 59 studio and one-bedroom apartments for seniors and the disabled. GMA is providing preconstruction and general contractor services to undertake a moderate rehab of the building. In-unit improvements will focus on kitchens and bathrooms, where flooring, cabinets, and appliance will be replaced. The rehab will also include modernization of corridors and common areas, including the property’s ample community spaces.
